Delta Gammas love any opportunity to "Do Good." In addition to working to further the goals of our international Foundation, Delta Pi DG's also like to reach out to our school and community. Delta Pi's participate in several community events including the following:
Playing Bingo at Wesley Retirement Community
Taking notes for visually impaired students on campus
Taking visually impaired students grocery shopping
Donating eyeglasses to the Hattiesburg Lion's Club
Reading to students at Oak Grove Upper Elementary
Hosting a dinner for visually impaired students at McAllisters
Donating money to the Catch the Vision playground for visually impaired children at the Jackson Children's Museum
Tutoring
Habitat for Humanity
Breast Cancer Awareness
Trick or Treat on Greek Street
May Day
Special Olympics
Participating in other Greek philanthropic organizations on campus
We also host our annual AnchorSplash® event which raises money for our national philanthropy, Service for Sight, an international sight conservation organization.
